Sun, sweat and suncream...
A huge thank you to our fantastic hosts, Stella Maris Rowing Club, for putting on a brilliant day of racing, competition, and hospitality. From the first race to the final finish line, it was a superbly organised event that provided a fantastic atmosphere for crews, supporters, and spectators alike.
Massive congratulations to all of our crews who represented the club with pride and gave absolutely everything they had on the water. Their hard work, commitment, and determination were on full display throughout the day, and we're incredibly proud of every athlete who raced.
Our results were:
🥉 Inter Women – Bronze
🥉 Junior Women – Bronze
🥈 Masters Women – Silver
🥇 Masters Men – Gold
A special shoutout goes to our Novice Men, Novice Ladies, and Mixed crews, who showed tremendous grit and resilience throughout their races. They dug deep, battled hard against strong competition, and stayed right in contention until the very end. While the results didn't quite fall their way this time, they left everything out on the water and demonstrated the effort, determination, and team spirit that make our club so proud.
Days like this are about more than medals; they're about pushing limits, supporting one another, and representing the club with passion and pride. Every crew contributed to a fantastic day and helped create memories that will last long after the racing finished.
We’ve got a full gallery of photos and highlights from an incredible day coming over the next few days, so keep an eye on our page. We can’t wait to share some of the best moments from a brilliant day of racing!
Our next regatta will take place on Saturday, 27th June, hosted by Bray Rowing Club.
It's going to be another hot one.
