Sun, sea, wind and smoke...
Although it was an early start, it was more than worth it as we experienced a fantastic day of East Coast rowing. On show was some of the finest competitive racing, incredible sportsmanship, and an atmosphere that made us proud to be part of such a brilliant rowing community.

Our sincere thanks to Bray Rowing for hosting such a well-organised regatta. The early hours brought challenging conditions, with gusty winds and smoke from the wildfires filling the air, making for a tough and demanding row. But these are the conditions that test a crew and our hardy Fingal crews never shy away from a challenge. They dug deep, stayed together, and gave everything they had on the water.

We couldn't be prouder of every single one of our crews. Your commitment, determination, resilience, and passion for Fingal Rowing Club were clear in every race. You represented our club with pride, and we are incredibly proud of you all.

A huge congratulations to our medal winners:

🥉 Inter Ladies – Bronze
🥉 Master Ladies – Bronze

We also want to recognise our Junior Ladies, Novice Men, Novice Ladies, Mixed Crew, and Masters Men, who all put in determined performances and remained competitive throughout the day. Your teamwork, resilience, and commitment were evident in every stroke. You should all be incredibly proud of what you achieved.

And then came a truly special moment in the history of Fingal Rowing Club…

💙 Our first-ever Junior Crew took to the water. 💙

Our U12 Boys, you have made history for our club.
This is the beginning of a brand-new chapter for Fingal Rowing Club, and we couldn't be more excited to see where this journey takes you. You are bringing new life, new energy, and a bright future to our skiffs. Today, you didn't just race, you represented the future of Fingal Rowing Club. We hope this is the first of many junior crews to follow, with more young rowers proudly taking to the water and wearing the Fingal colours in the years ahead.

This is a day we will remember for a long time.

Now, we turn our attention to the final regatta of the 2026 East Coast Season, hosted by Wicklow Rowing Club.

One last chance for glory.
One last chance to grab those final points.
One last chance to give everything we have and finish the season on a high.
C’MON FINGAL!

ONE LAST PULL!
