Our Season So Far...

The Boyne Boat Race, hosted by InverColpa Rowing Club, kicked off our 2026 season with a bang. Two crews travelled to Drogheda to take part in the 15.4 km endurance race.

Saturday 7th June - The third ECRC Regatta will be hosted by Skerries Rowing Club, the regatta took place on the North Beach in Skerries.

Saturday 5th July  - St. Patrick's Rowing Club hosted the fifth ECRC Regatta at their Club House in Ringsend. Located next to the East Link Toll Bridge. Boats raced up and down the Liffey to claim victory.

Our Interladies crew took to the water to compete in Skerries Rowing Club's annual Round Rockabill Rowing Race 2026. Crews from all around Ireland in all different classes of boat will race to round the island and back to Skerries

Sunday 17th May 2026 - The first of our ECRC regattas will take place at St. Michael's Rowing Club in Dún Laoghaire.

Saturday 21st June - Stella Maris Rowing Club will host the fourth ECRC Regatta, which will take place at their clubhouse in Ringsend, next to the Yacht Club.

Saturday 25th July - Bray Rowing Club hosted the penultimate regatta of the East Coast Season at their clubhouse on the promenade in Bray. They were granted the new date in absence of Greystones Regatta.

Our Junior Ladies crew and Novice Men's Crew took to the water to compete in Fingal Rowing Club's annual Lambay Challenge Race 2026. Crews from all over Ireland raced to be the first to round Lambay Island and back to Rush.​​​​​

Saturday 30th May 2026 - The second ECRC Regatta will be hosted by Dalkey Rowing Club at Scotsman's Bay, Sandycove.

Saturday 27th June - Bray Rowing Club was due to host the fifth ECRC Regatta, which was to take place outside their clubhouse on the promenade in Bray. Unfortunatly, it was called off due to the weather.

Monday 5th August - A fantastic day of racing hosted by Wicklow Rowing Club. The final regatta in our ECRC series along the East Coast. Read the full story below.
