We are incredibly proud to announce that our very own Joanne Dalton has been nominated and shortlisted for the KPMG Women in Sport Awards. This recognition is so richly deserved, and everyone at Fingal Rowing Club is absolutely thrilled for Joanne.

Joanne’s passion, dedication, and relentless drive to elevate the sport of rowing have left a lasting impact not only within our club but across the entire rowing community. Through one of the most challenging years, Joanne never once let her team down, showing extraordinary resilience, strength, and unwavering commitment every step of the way.

A fierce and determined competitor on the water, Joanne leads by example every time she rows. As a loyal teammate, inspiring club member, and proud ambassador for Fingal Rowing Club, she gives her heart and soul both on and off the water.

In her role as Club PRO, Joanne has worked tirelessly to promote Fingal Rowing Club with passion, creativity, and pride. Her efforts on social media have been widely recognised and admired throughout the East Coast rowing community, helping to shine a light on our sport and our club in such a positive way.

Joanne’s commitment, spirit, and enthusiasm truly embody the very best of skiff rowing. This nomination is a testament to the positive influence she continues to have on the sport and on everyone fortunate enough to row alongside her.

The awards will take place on Tuesday, 19th May at the College Green Hotel.
