We were proud to welcome the 89th Bremore Scout Group back into our East Coast Skiffs this week for another fantastic evening on the water.
89th Bremore Scouts return to our East Coast Skiffs
The 89th Bremore Scouts are a vibrant and inclusive Scout Group based in Balbriggan, supporting young people from 6 to 25 years of age across Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures and Rovers since their establishment in 2014.

At Fingal Rowing Club, we were delighted to host the group for a Kids TryRow session as they worked towards earning their rowing badges. More importantly, we hope this is just the beginning of a lasting connection, with the Scouts becoming regular users of our skiffs throughout the summer season.
​
The future of our sport is built by introducing young people to the water, teamwork and community spirit, and who knows, it may not be long before we see some of these young rowers competing in ECRC regattas in the years ahead.

A very special thank you to Carl Nangle and Brendan Dempsey for making the evening possible through their hard work and organisation.

Seeing young people take to the skiffs with such enthusiasm is something we are incredibly proud of. They are the next generation of our sport, and the future looks very bright indeed.
