And here, we, go!

The East Coast season started with a bang on Sunday, 17th May 2026. A fantastic day of racing hosted by St. Michaels Rowing Club, with clubs from all along the East Coast battling it out on the water.

Huge congratulations to every club that took part, and massive credit to all the rowers and coxes who gave everything chasing victory! Five of our crews took to the water to bring it home for Fingal Rowing Club. These included Interladies, Mixed, Novice Men, Masters Men, and Masters Women.

The conditions definitely kept everyone on their toes at times, but despite the variable seas, intermittent sunshine with a sprinkling of rain, it was an incredible start to the season and a brilliant showcase of determination, teamwork, and racing spirit.

We are proud of our crews for leaving it all out there, with some fantastic results for the club:

- Mixed Crew — Silver.
- Novice Men’s — Bronze.
- Masters Women — Bronze.

Now it’s back to training mode 💥

Here’s hoping for kinder sea conditions this week as we set our sights on the next ECRC Regatta in Dalkey on Saturday, 30th May 2026, and maybe upgrading those medals!
